ROOTECH HIGH VACUUM WASTE OIL REFINING (DISTILLATION) SYSTEMA high vacuum waste oil refining system uses vacuum distillation to separate valuable base oil from waste lubricants and other used oils by heating the de-watered oil in a kettle under high vacuum conditions, causing components to vaporize at lower temperatures, and then condensing them into usable products. The vacuum reduces the distillation temperature, preventing oil oxidation and improving the quality and color of the recovered oil, which can be regenerated and reused. How a High Vacuum Waste Oil Refining System Works
1. Heating and Dehydration:De-watered waste oil is heated in a kettle under vacuum.
2. Vaporization:As the temperature rises, different components of the oil vaporize at their respective boiling points.
3. Condensation:The vapors rise to a condenser, where they are cooled and condense back into liquid form.
4. Fractionation:The condensed liquid is collected as different cuts, corresponding to the various temperatures at which they vaporized.
5. Vacuum Maintenance:A vacuum pumping system maintains the high vacuum necessary for the process.
6. Regeneration (Optional):Additional systems may incorporate additives to remove acidity, sludge, and other decay products, regenerating the recovered oil's color and properties.
